表参道に新たに誕生する現代アートギャラリー・VACANT ROOMは、オープニング展としてOLI個展「THE WARP」を2025年7月13日（日）から8月3日（日）まで開催いたします。 OLIは、図像の断片を歪めることで既存の整序に還元されない未定型の調和をもたらす独自の手法"WARP"を軸に、領域横断的に表現活動を展開しています。その作品には、虚実の境界を溶かし出す渦動により、静的な平面上に流動性に満ちた刹那的な均衡が顕現されています。 本展はOLIにとって二年ぶり、過去最大規模の個展であり、集大成を示す新作約20点を一堂に展示いたします。この機会に是非ご高覧ください。 また、本展の開催にあわせて、これまでの変遷を辿る159点の作品を収めた作品集「THE WARP OLI WORKS 2020-2025」が水鏡社より刊行されます。巻末には山中拓也氏(THE ORAL CIGARETTES/ボーカル)、SIVA氏(MUZE/デザイナー)との鼎談を15頁にわたって収録した特装本となっており、オープニング初日には作家在廊のもと、先行販売をおこなう予定です。(数量限定のため、数に限りがございます) VACANT ROOM, a new contemporary art gallery in Omotesando, is pleased to present the opening exhibition: OLI Solo Show “THE WARP,” running from July 13 (Sun) to August 3 (Sun), 2025. OLI’s practice is built around a unique method called “WARP,” which distorts fragments of imagery to create indeterminate harmonies that cannot be reduced to existing orders. Working across disciplinary boundaries, OLI’s pieces evoke momentary equilibria filled with fluid dynamism on static surfaces, as vortex-like motions dissolve the boundary between reality and illusion. This exhibition marks OLI’s first solo show in two years and his largest to date, bringing together approximately 20 new works that represent the culmination of his artistic exploration. Coinciding with the exhibition, Suikyo-sha will publish the special edition catalogue THE WARP oli works 2020–2025, which traces OLI’s development through 159 works. The volume features a 15-page roundtable discussion at its conclusion with Takuya Yamanaka (THE ORAL CIGARETTES, vocals) and SIVA (MUZE, designer).
